Safety system incorporates gas sensor, gas shutoff devices

Buster Brown acquires Ferguson Propane

Buster Brown Propane, New Caney, Texas, completed the acquisition of Ferguson Propane, a retailer located in Cleveland, Texas. According to the Cleveland Advocate, Ferguson Propane owners Larry and Mindy Ferguson retired and decided to sell their business. Buster Brown currently employs 23 people and delivers gas within a 75-mile radius, the Cleveland Advocate reports. read more

AmeriGas adds 50 autogas vehicles to its fleet

AmeriGas Propane Inc. purchased 50 Roush CleanTech Ford F-550s equipped with cranes to deliver propane tanks to customer sites. The purchase more than doubles AmeriGas’ medium-duty autogas fleet across the United States. According to a press release, the company deployed 35 autogas vehicles at the end of 2013. read more

IMT hires customer support manager

Iowa Mold Tooling Co. hired Holly McCoy-Nelson as its customer support manager. McCoy-Nelson will lead IMT’s customer service and aftermarket support teams. Prior to IMT, McCoy-Nelson worked at Graham Wood Doors in sales and customer service. IMT manufactures and supplies service vehicles, truck-mounted cranes, hydraulic loaders and air compressors. read more

Enterprise increases loading capacity at terminal

Enterprise Products Partners LP expanded its LP gas export terminal at the Houston Ship Channel, which increased the facility’s capacity for loading fully refrigerated, low-ethane propane to 9 million barrels per month. Enterprise can accommodate three additional ships per month because of the increase.
