Smith Pumps and Full-Circle add new outside sales representative
Smith Pumps and Full-Circle appointed Dan Glassburn as its new outside sales representative.
Glassburn started his career in reconditioning and fabricating lasers in his father’s manufacturing business. Over the past 18 years, he has focused on computer numerical control (CNC) programming and machining, with time spent in sales roles along the way.
Most recently, CNC programming and machining has played a key role in increasing production efficiency at Smith by embracing new technologies, significantly reducing lead times and boosting output, according to the companies.
“Dan shares our vision and passion,” says C.J. Smith, president of Smith Pumps and Full-Circle. “He represents a blend of practical, hands-on mechanical expertise and exceptional people skills, and we’re looking forward to welcoming him into this role.”
According to the companies, Glassburn believes in the power of teamwork and strives to uplift those around him. He’s committed to building a positive, collaborative environment where everyone’s role is valued.
Smith Pumps was founded in 1938 by Reuben Stanley Smith. It specializes in liquefied gas transfer, with its product line incorporating small, medium and large capacity positive displacement pump models in several porting configurations, for intermittent or continuous duty service.
Walter Smith founded Full-Circle in 1991, and it was the first company to list a swivel with the Underwriters Laboratories for liquefied petroleum gas service. The SMAC-1 swivel laid the foundation for designs to follow.
